Taking full advantage of the GPU, BLG Vantage has migrated its core cross-correlation and remapping code to the GPU. Equipped with a suitable NVIDIA graphics card your computer can now process large and small datasets between 2 and 40 times faster than before (CPU based processing). You can now expect to achieve more precise results faster by increasing parameters such as the number of ROIs used to compare shifts in the EBSD pattern without fear of negatively impacting the time needed to process them.
